Upcoming NYS DMV System Outage (February 13th to 18th, 2026)
The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYS DMV) will be conducting a major technology upgrade as part of its statewide modernization initiative. During this upgrade, all NYS DMV systems, including services related to licensing, testing, ticketing, and other driver related functions, will be unavailable.

Scheduled Downtime
Begins: Friday, February 13, 2026
Ends: Wednesday, February 18, 2026

Services are expected to resume once the outage ends, but due to the scale of the transition, customers may still experience intermittent delays or temporary issues in the days immediately following the relaunch.
We appreciate your patience during this statewide system upgrade and will provide additional updates as needed.
